Application Guide.

Surface Preparation

Surface to be coated, must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.
Blowholes, areas of honeycombing etc., must be filled and the surface brought back to an even profile with a suitable repair render modified with Acrylic Modifier. Trowel to a smooth even finish and allow to cure.
Uneven concrete surfaces(decks, etc) with areas subject to ponding should be rectified to ensure adequate falls for drainage of surface water. Remove by grinding any ridges or protrusions that could impede the application of or damage subsequent membrane coatings.

Application Procedure and Equipment

When mixing in Posicure use low speed mechanical stirring. Slowly mix in Posicure in the ratio of 1 part to 30 parts of Elastoseal Multi for approximately 2 minutes to ensure uniformity. Avoid excessive agitation.
Elastoseal Multi System should, where possible, be applied by airless spray equipment such as a Wagner EP2105 power operated unit or similar, with a tip size of 17-23 thou(e.g Wagner 517).
Brush or roller application may also be used for smaller areas. Rollers and brushes must be completely dry before use.
The combination of Elastoseal Multi and Posicure will have a pot life of up to 60 minutes at 30-35^oC and approximately 4 hours at 20^oC.

Precautions.

Elastoseal Multi System should not be use if the temperature of the surface or air is less than 5^oC or is above 38^oC.
Temporarily protect the membrane from machenical damage after application using polystyrene boards or an equally effective alternative.
A cement screed or topping may be laid over the system after 24 hours curing.
If Elastoseal Multi System is used in the wet areas(i.e. bathrooms, showers, etc), use cementitious tile adhesives
